Design
Maxflow End Suction type pumps are horizontal, radially split, single stage centrifugal pumps. In this type of pump the rotating element alongwith Bearing block can be removed as a single unit from the pump without disconnecting the piping system Impeller is of enclosed type overhung mounted and accurately dynamically balanced. Casing is of volute type with axial end suction connection, radially upward discharge and cast in mounting feet. Direction of rotation is clockwise when seen from the driving end.
Material of construction
Casing, Impeller and Bearing housing are normally made from Grey Cast Iron and shaft from high tensile steel. The pumps are also available with different combination of materials such as Ductile Iron, Stainless Steel and Bronze.
